Overview

Tether Connect ("we", "our", "the company") provides enterprise AI security software deployed in self-hosted configurations. This policy describes how we handle information in connection with our website (tetherconnect.app, ai-security.app) and any evaluation or commercial agreements.

Because Tether is self-hosted software, we do not receive, process, or store the AI request payloads, developer activity logs, or policy enforcement data generated by your deployment. That data remains entirely within your infrastructure.

Information We Collect

We collect limited information in the following contexts:

• Website inquiries: Name, work email, company name, and any information you include in a contact or demo request form.
• Evaluation agreements: Billing and legal contact information provided in the course of establishing a commercial relationship.
• Website analytics: Anonymized page visit data (pages viewed, referrer, browser type). We do not use cookies that track individuals across sites.
• Support communications: Information you provide when contacting us for technical assistance.

What We Don't Collect

Because Tether is self-hosted, we want to be explicit about what we do not receive:

• Developer AI request content or payloads
• Policy enforcement decisions or audit log data
• Source code or any developer work product
• Employee identity or behavioral data from your deployment
• Telemetry from running enforcement agents (unless you have separately configured telemetry forwarding to us, which is opt-in and off by default)

How We Use Information

Information you provide through website inquiries or commercial agreements is used to:

• Respond to demo requests and evaluate fit
• Administer commercial agreements and provide support
• Send product and security updates relevant to your deployment (opt-out available at any time)

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Retention

Contact inquiry data is retained for the duration of our business relationship and for a reasonable period thereafter for legal and record-keeping purposes. You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us at alvin@tetherconnect.app.

Security

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold. Given the nature of our business and customer base, we take security obligations seriously.
